What are the transportation services?
Rock County Transit (RCT) provides transportation services for individuals who are at least 55 years old or who have a disability. The service is available throughout Rock County using wheelchair-accessible buses. This door-to-door service requires that passengers board the bus independently or have someone available to assist them. The buses are scheduled on a "shared ride" basis, which means that multiple passengers can be transported at the same time to provide service to as many passengers as possible. Transportation is available Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

How much does it cost?
The cost of the trip is $10 round trip or $5 one way within your community. Traveling from one community to another (e.g., Janesville to Evansville) will cost $12 round trip or $6 one way. A 10-trip pass is available for purchase from the driver.

Is the transportation only for medical appointments?
No. Passengers can also use the service for employment-related transportation, grocery shopping or personal errands, visits to nursing homes, hair appointments, or social trips. RCT does not provide transportation for hospital discharges, outpatient surgery, or certain procedures. Call RCT for more information.
Who can use this service?
